+JMJ Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam

...I'm in a race against the clock and tempus fugit. Just a couple more weeks to go....
Actually, I just have to finish these 7 lessons up by late next week--then I have ten days to study for my finals. Whew. I have no idea why I did this to myself, but I'm sorta getting to like the pain and hustle. Strange. I know I'm in the desert because I'm getting delusional. I think things like, "Oh, maybe I can take the second follow-up course to this Latin one...for fun." Then I realize it's 4am and I have to get up for work tomorrow, and it's been like this for weeks now...all because of Latin and Criminal Justice. Latina est gaudium. Oh well. I guess there is a certain degree of fun there. I never thought 2 courses would be so crazy. I think it's the addition of work, a slew of insane happenings all precisely timed to this ill period, and the ever-enduring splendor of a procrastination so finely-tuned, I waited till the last month to complete all 28 lessons, a midterm, two finals, and 3 papers. Ah, it feels good to peer over the edge of the abyss and somehow come out unscathed. Well, it's not over yet.
I'm not even talking about school anymore! Wow, I need sleep.

Hullo! It’s so good to have u back. Really wasn’t expecting to find stuff from u when I came on. U have no idea how shallow dis place has been with u so outta circulation. Sometimes I wish u didn’t have to have such a crazy schedule.

Who saw Inside Edition two nights ago? On it, there was a story of dis lady that lost her job more or less because of her blog. She was a flight attendant, stewardess – can’t remember which – with Delta Airlines. D story is she posted photos she’d had taken of herself in d cabin of d plane on her blog. I wouldn’t say they were provocative or anything (except she had 1 or 2 buttons on her blouse undone and was in a couple of suggestive poses), d guys at Delta didn’t say they fired her because d photos were offensive either. Instead they rambled about her having taken them in her uniform, putting them up on her journal, and other crappy reasons they came up with. Another girl, an employee with some big fashion magazine, got axed for discussing her co-workers and superiors with fellow bloggers. Who would have thot dis harmless thing could have such serious repercussions? Just felt like sharing.

And, though I won’t say anything about it just yet, I saw d latest twist to d sorry George Bush saga. Talking of dat tête-à-tête he had with d troops in Iraq. Very shameful…

Ren, before u take off again, I’m thinking perhaps u should pay up (u know wat u owe me).
